First Order Stormtrooper Helmet Built from Scratch
The release of The Force Awakens brought a new stormtrooper design with a slightly different helmet. Since the film has been out almost a year, there are several premade helmets and kits available on the market, but why not challenge yourself and make your own? Tethan Props crafted a First Order stormtrooper helmet from scratch starting with a paper base that had to be pieced together in strips. It involves more cutting and glueing that I can conceive of doing. Once the basic structure was there, it was covered in Bondo and sanded into the correct shape. The overall process is time consuming, but this would be a cool project to teach yourself a variety of skills.
