Overwatch Bastion Cosplay

bastion-cosplay-1

Overwatch cosplay is a popular these days, but I don’t often see cosplayers build costumes based on Bastion. Bastion is a defense hero that can turn into a giant turret. Yeah, it’s not a bad skill to have. Mathoz Costumes can’t transform, but he still made a fantastic Bastion costume nonetheless. He captured the character’s bulky proportions and constructed everything from the armor, to the rifle, to the faux grass and bird’s nest. You can see a couple of in progress pictures below and more in this Facebook album. If you flip through the photos, you’ll see one of the tricks of cosplaying: having enough room in your space to build.

Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
