A Guide to the Cosplay Shopping in the L.A. Fashion District
Kamui Cosplay puts together the most helpful videos and posts to help other cosplayers. She’s generous with her knowledge, and her latest video focuses on the L.A. Fashion District. I’ve heard about this mythical area of downtown Los Angeles where you can find all sorts of fabric, jewelry, buttons, and more. I’ve even driven through it while attending various events, but the high number of stores intimidated me. I didn’t know where to start, and I’m not the sort who has patience to visit 10 or more stores looking for just the right material. Cue Kamui’s video.
She hits up the Fashion District when she visits the U.S. for BlizzCon (it takes place in Anaheim, just south of Los Angeles), and she filmed a tour showing what shops she visits. She gives an overview of what each place has and in doing so, gives me more confidence about stopping by some stores and finding what I’m looking for rather than just aimlessly wandering.
