mPort is an Australian startup that makes a 3D body scanner that looks like a photo booth from the future. The idea is your pay a subscription fee and then regularly access your nearest mPorts for a non-invasive infra red body scan. mPort claims it will accurately map over 200,000 points on your body in 3D. They have already linked up with various e-tailors for custom made clothing. As you might expect this device also has a health focus as it is recording BMI, fat, waste-hip ratios and more. mPort’s app provides a scan history and includes tips and charts to help users with their body shape goals.
