Behind-the-Scenes with Grado Labs, Brooklyn Headphone Makers @mfgday #MFGDay16 @whitehouse @grado
Multiple generations of music-based makers Grado Labs are well known to Adafruit team members and audio aficionados. The video below by Ars Technica is one of the more interesting looks – “a mini-documentary” – into the Grado Labs building in Brooklyn, NYC. It shows some of the steps and processes that go into the making of a pair of Grado headphones – I love seeing the places where things are made, including how tools are kept and workbenches worked on, as much as the final product itself.
Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
