How-To Tip for Automating Components in Circular Shapes in Eagle @CadSoftTech

Inspired by the TicTocTrac class/project, YouTuber Vikas V came up with this nift trick for populating an array of components in Eagle, and then automating their layout into a circular – or even oval – shape. Pretty cool! The video takes a bit to build up to the ‘a-ha’ moment but it’s totally worth it if you’re looking for this solution for your own build. Video below.

Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
