BlizzCon happened over the weekend, and if any convention is a home to elaborate costumes, it’s this one. Blizzard Entertainment operates the convention, so it’s all about their properties — World of Warcraft, Overwatch, Diablo, etc. Many of the characters in those games wear tricked out costumes featuring armor, massive props, and light-up elements. And the pool isn’t as limited as you might think. Each of those games features a number of memorable characters. You can see several of them on display in BlizzCon’s Costume Contest — the range of styles and skills is impressive. IGN captured every participant in the above video.
Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
