Many of the little monsters in Pokémon are cute and possibly furry or fluffy, but you can make a Pokémon costume in a different image. Friggin Boom Toys turned Pikachu into a battle ready warrior with armor. He specifically designed the armor with a post-apocalyptic feel. He documented the build progress of his Pikachu wastelander armor with videos on YouTube. He goes over materials and has plenty of in-progress footage to illustrate each step. Watch an overview of the costume construction above and check out the helmet and knife prop in the below videos.
Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
