On Friday December 9th Black Girls code is hosting a free Hour of CODE event in New York City! Black Girls CODE shared this event on eventbrite!
Black Girls CODE in collaboration with Accenture is excited to host an Hour of Code during the 2016 Computer Science Education Week! Students will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of fun topics including game design and programming, using coding skills to problem solve through creativity. This event is also designed to help girls build relationships as they explore the abundance of careers that STEM fields have to offer.
Event Schedule
3:30pm- Registration & Snacks
3:45pm- Introductions and Overview of tech careers at Accenture
4pm- Hour of Code
5pm- Tour of Accenture office
5:15pm- Program closeout
This event is intended for girls grades 9-12.
