It’s almost the holidays which means I’m seeing some winter and holiday-inspired costumes appear around the interwebs. Kelsey, a.k.a. toughtink cosplay, came up with her own take on Belle’s winter costume from Beauty and the Beast — the one Belle wears during “Something There.” She took the basic idea from the animated film but put a historically accurate spin on it. She studied Victorian dresses from the 1850s and 1860s for inspiration and added an incredible amount of details to the elegant handmade dress. See all those roses on the costume? She added them by hand.
Look at some of the detailed fabric and trim she used on the costume:
Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
