Every part of an Edwards Scissorhands costume seems complex to me, from the wild hair to the scissor hands. Cosplayer Alyson Tabbitha recently put together a costume featuring the Tim Burton character and documented each aspect of the process. She has how-to videos for the wig and make-up and also the most important aspect of the costume: the scissor hands. She goes through the steps in the above video — you can get a full supply list and templates for the hand in the video description on YouTube.
Need a guide for resin casting? Alyson has that, too:
Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
