Reddit user poop_de_poop posted up their yearly sneeze count summary in the Dataisbeautiful group. This individual found peak sneezing occurs in the afternoon averaging 20% more than morning or night time sneezes. The increase in mid-day sneezing could be attributed to photic sneeze reflex (PSR) or ACHOO (autosomal dominant compulsive helio-ophthalmic outbursts of sneezing) syndrome. poop_de_poop would log each series of sneezes on their cell phone along with the time of data. Meta-chart was used to generate the pie chart.
Interested in what we can learn from sneezes? Thomas Christiansen gave a quantified self talk where he shows a correlation between his sneezes to pollen, food allergens and sleep.
