“Drawing” on Cyanotype Paper using UV Laser #axidraw

You might recognize the drawing of this specific Lorenz attractor from Lindsay Wilson’s previous project drawing one on glow-in-the-dark vinyl! In this video an identical 100mW 405nm laser is used to ‘draw’ on cyanotype paper, paper coated with a light-sensitive solution of potassium ferricyanide and ferric ammonium citrate. The results are not only pretty remarkable they’re pretty darn sharp too!
