I was tipped off to the recent ‘LAMPU’ festival in Putrajaya, Malaysia after seeing this tweet from the AP scroll by in my feeds:

OK now I must know more! It turns out there’s a whole sub-culture there of pedicabs that are decorated with LED strip lighting, and illuminated ornaments, which themselves are just a portion of the exhibitions on display at LAMPU. For example:
