fantastic – and show what is possible when you take advantage of a technique typically used for one process, and apply it to another. In this case ‘drawing’ on PCB layers and turning them into works of visual art:
I developed a process to convert color bitmap image files (PNG, PSD, etc) to files suitable for PCB manufacturers. David “Doz” Herman designed a number of pieces to see how various effects work, and I think there are some interesting possibilities.
These are all 2×2 squares, but anything that can be produced at a normal PCB manufacturer is possible. These were made at @oshpark and came out exactly as expected.
