When talented makeup and FX artists are involved, the line between cosplay and body paint is blurred. It becomes cospaint. Designer and model Kay Pike is no stranger to crafting incredible looks using body paints and a whole lot of patience. She recently shared a new design: C-3PO from Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Though the video is technically named a tutorial, it’s actually a time lapse condensing the makeup application to a few minutes. It’s complex and the shading she achieves with only body paint is pretty impressive. You can see more of her vidoes at YouTube.
