iPhone 6+ CPU ‘Demolition’ and Repair

If you thought your fixer skills were elite, check out this video below by user glonwywen – G-Lon channel on YouTube – with an amazing demonstration of grinding the A8 processor in an iPhone 6+ down to its sub-components, and then jumping them to create a working, bootable device. That’s all kinds of crazy! The description of the video translates to:

CPU sealing off the U0301, without removal of the CPU to the solution

You can see the CPU located just above and to the right of his left thumb – that green splotch on the corner of the CPU is where it was ‘repaired’:
