Minana Cosplay is almost finished with a World of Warcraft Jaina costume, complete with her staff. The weapon is a tall staff (taller than the character) and has a glowing green gem tip. Minana came up with a creative idea to make the tip glow in a more interesting, realistic way. She made the gem from transparent paper and put it over a LED. Then she added hot glue all over the surface of the paper so the LED’s light would diffuse and used stained glass to paint it. You can look at the picture below to see what the gem looks like when the LED is off.
