When I share armor how-to tips and tricks, I usually highlight materials or how to weather or finish armor. Maker David Guyton covers all those subjects, but he also covers a different topic that I don’t see addressed often: how to add rivets to armor. In the above video, he uses a relatively inexpensive method for putting metal rivets (as opposed to making faux rivets by gluing googly eyes on and painting over them) on his armor, using the heads of nails.
