Cosplay Caranrod has spent the past four months or so crafting a large-scale, impressive replica of World of Warcraft’s Lady Vashj costume. The ensemble includes armor, a weapon prop (a long bow), extra limbs, a scale-covered tail, sculpted hair, and special effects makeup (that’s by GFatelier). The number of techniques involved in construction is vast, and the project had to be a test of creativity and skill. Caranrod took photos along the way. The process started with several sketches and then sculpting snakes for Vashj’s hair.
