Ok, this happened last year and we didn’t notice until recently – a few things worth noting, none of the sites (Rf Digital, Simblee and RFDuino have had news updates since June/July of 2016 and the RFDuino library has a last updated date of 2015. Some of the sites say “Copyright 2015 RF Digital Corp. All Rights Reserved. Multiple Patents Pending.” The RFDuino Twitter account has one tweet from 2013. Looks like the forums are still active and have a few posts with the most activity being in the Simblee forum with 4 posts so far this month. The RF Digital Facebook was last updated in 2012.
ams a leading worldwide supplier of high-performance sensor and analog solutions, announces the completion of the transaction to acquire 100% of the shares in Heptagon and the related capital increase of 11,011,281 new shares from authorized capital excluding subscription rights. ams announced on 24 October 2016 that the company had signed an agreement to acquire Heptagon.
Any way, unclear what’s ahead for the RF digital products now that it was acquired, then acquired – if you’re at RF digital / Simblee / RF Digital (or ams AG) – drop us a note and let us know!
