Good news: The first prototype of the PIOstack 1 is built and works!

Assembled with a Raspberry Pi Zero, the package measures 79mm x 39mm x 26mm (LxBxH), so it is only about half as big as a Raspberry Pi B +!

Because my Raspberry Pi Zero still was not delivered (almost two months!), I could only test the LAN9514 chipset. With the Windows 7 drivers everything worked immediately, the board logs itself as a combination unit with four USB and an Ethernet interface on the laptop. A first test with the LAN95xx utility complained about the empty EEPROM.
