Originally constructed for the Louisiana Purchase Exposition in St. Louis in 1904, the now-named Wanamaker Organ resides inside Macy’s Center City, their department store at 13th and Market in Philadelphia. The video below features some amazing behind-the-scenes shots of the bellows, pipes, and even power elements that make this pipe organ the largest functional instrument in the world!
