Michał Gwiazda and Radosław Sierpowsk of Crafts of Two are always tackling labor intensive projects with various materials. Their portfolio on Facebook show cases armor, helmets, props featuring LEDs, and more. They’ve even put together a tutorial on building a lightsaber. The project uses lights and wiring and will test your soldering skills. The blade is made from a polycarbonate tube, while the hilt is fabricated from aluminum parts attached together via soldering and strong adhesives. You can see a couple of making-of pictures below.
