Metal Gear Solid Gray Fox Helmet with Moving Parts and Lights Build

As an engineer and cosplayer, Diegator doesn’t mess around when it comes to tackling tricky projects. He completed his most recent project just in time for Emerald City Comicon. His Metal Gear Solid Gray Fox helmet has multiple moving parts and lights. You can see how the finished helmet moves in this Instagram video. He used Adafruit products, including NeoPixels, to help him with the project, and he documented various steps along the way to show how he did things like prepping the helmet for molding, installing the servos, and more.
