Xena Becomes a Different Type of Princess

Cosplayer MsBernadetteB is known for her Xena: Warrior Princess costume, but sometimes she sports a different take on the character. The above photo features her as Xena Warrior Princess Princess. The ensemble combines the armor and weaponry with a large ball gown style skirt (it’s the width of a hallway) and a perfectly themed tiara (it’s made from mini chakrams). The dress looks heavy but also like so much fun to wear. And the creation of the costume is a team effort. The creativity of many makers came together here with the ball gown by Chad Hatter, the Xena armor by Todd’s Costumes, a corset by Castle Corsetry, a wig by Outfitters Wig, and a tiara by Igor Pinsky.

Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
