When you need an instant shot of costume-making inspiration, visit YouTube and search for cosplay music videos. I feature them regularly here at Adafruit because the videos are bite-sized servings of cosplayers and their work. This video captured by Inside the Magic at the most recent WonderCon showcases costumes featuring armor, masks, ball gowns, props, and more. The outfits are from a variety of comics and films, and some of them are quite complex — for example, there’s an Alice and Mad Hatter with a portable tea party set-up! Maybe one of them will trigger an idea or push you to get back to work on your next costume.
