In an effort to take its artificial intelligence platform directly to the maker community, Google recently announced a new initiative called AIY Projects. The goal, as Google puts it, is to enable AI to be used with tools from the maker toolkit to solve real world problems. It’s first project, called “Voice Kit“, is a demonstration of the company’s natural language processing using nothing more than a Raspberry Pi and a small cardboard cube.
