Michael Wilson, a.k.a. Knightmage, is always impressing me with his costumes. He puts his own spin on familiar characters such as Goliath from Gargoyles, The Joker, and more — like this Aquaman ensemble. I love the costume design. You can see the kind of work that went into the build by looking at the below photo when Aquaman was about fifty percent complete. Michael says:
The shoulder pad is foam with hundreds of tiny sea shells attached. The other shoulder has foam octopus arms draped over the cape.
