This Aquaman Costume Is Ready to Rule the Ocean

Michael Wilson, a.k.a. Knightmage, is always impressing me with his costumes. He puts his own spin on familiar characters such as Goliath from Gargoyles, The Joker, and more — like this Aquaman ensemble. I love the costume design. You can see the kind of work that went into the build by looking at the below photo when Aquaman was about fifty percent complete. Michael says:

The shoulder pad is foam with hundreds of tiny sea shells attached. The other shoulder has foam octopus arms draped over the cape.

It’s all about the details.

See more Michael’s work by following him on Facebook, and don’t forget to read our interview with him.

Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
