tsechunsing Tears Down Instruments to Create Something New #MusicMonday

Vimeo user tsechunsing has a handful of videos featuring instruments that contain bits of other instruments, like a violin and harmonica. From vimeo:

Original parts from my old instruments: 1 mouthpiece of a harmonica 5 keys from a melodica

I have learned various musical instruments yet none succeeded. I wasted my parents’ efforts, but I could never really explain to them…

After all these years, I break apart those instruments, and create my own sound-making devices with my interests and my knowledge in mechatronics. Together with a little music theory, I generate my own music and play a song no one has ever heard before.

Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
