Early spring I did a 6 week project together with my craft collegues. The students (secondary school ie about 15 years old) were to solve some kind of (preferably) accessability/communication problem using clothes, clothing accessories etc and the Circuit Playground. We had a lot of fun, the students got very involved and the results were awesome.
The Swedish teaching magazine Origo, for math and science teachers, decided to visist us and the result arrived yesterday. The headline on the cover reads “Creative coding”. 🙂
Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
