Putting together a Marvin the Martian costume comes with unique challenges, but maker Mark Page rose to the challenge. He made the cartoon character’s bright outfit from top to bottom, including his extra large shoes. Page says he started with a pair of deck shoes and fitted them to a base board. He then put EVA foam on the top and designed the foam so that it could flex as he walks — and walking is going to be challenging enough because of the skirt, which ended up being quite wide.
