AWE me’s DIY Prop Shop focuses on making replica props for less than $50. Since the series focuses on using inexpensive materials and regularly reviews basic techniques, it’s a good one for beginning cosplayers and makers to binge. Their recent episode celebrates the 35th anniversary of Tron with a replica of the helmet in the film. They begin with a bicycle helmet to make a pattern for a foam helmet, and after construction, it’s all about adding precise details with acrylic and UV paint.
