A new Marvel movie means new costumes and props for makers to interpret. I’ve seen a cosplayer with electronic elements built into his costume, and it’s no surprise that AWE me’s Man at Arms: Reforged is taking on the dual swords wielded by Thor in the movie. The Baltimore Knife and Sword team gathered reference material — mostly from a magazine cover — and laid out the design and then they got to work. Watch the swords take shape in the above video.
Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
