Psychedelics vs. Inflammation

The SmartDrugSmarts podcast has an interesting interview with Dr. Nichols who is researching the use of psychedelics to prevent inflammation. Funding is provided by the (NIH) National Institute of Health as well as some private foundations. Dr. Nichols has found that very small doses of psychedelics (100x below hallucination levels) activate serotonin receptors differently than serotonin does by recruiting different enzymes.
