Bandai has come up with some different takes on stormtroopers for their Star Wars collectibles, including an Tamashii Nations Ashigaru stormtrooper. The design of the trooper’s armor is reminiscent of feudal Japan. Redditor TheConfectionerd brought the figure to life by making a replica of the armor. They said:
The entire costume was made by me, with the exception of the sword used in that picture. Constructed mainly from pvc foam board (sintra), all done by hand, and no 3d printing or worbla.
