Game of Thrones has plenty of fodder for cosplayers and propmakers, and Man at Arms: Reforged was inspired by Euron Greyjoy’s axe in season seven. They point out the shape of the Iron Islands axe is complex and sophisticated. To achieve the right kind of shape, the team at Baltimore Knife and Sword had to make a new forge tool from several pieces. It’s a beast of a project just to make the axe, and then they had to add the squid design. They used wrought iron for the pattern. See how everything comes together in the above video.
