My personal profile was removed, this week it required (so far) that I upload 2 photos of myself, I did that, and then it denied access. My personal account vanished. My Facebook has, had, 2-step with Authy and a verified phone via text message and backup codes. I am listed on some type of Facebook “Public figure” page here cannot claim or verify it either.
Screenshot of my profile before it was removed.

I guess you can’t reach Facebook to pull your Adafruit advertising either. I’m still seeing ads there. Which I don’t mind at all. Although I would prefer to see an ad for your newest products rather than something I just bought.
You – yes You Lady Ada need to start a public/commercial version of facebook- I would gladly dump this stupid “media(facebook) “if it meant that I could get the lastest news about products- it would have to include other think geek though!! :-)))
Must have been resolved? I can find your profile on facebook by searching your name.
Doesn’t give me the option to add you as a friend, but the message option is still there. Definitely a personal profile too, not just the page to “like” you.
Stating rudely, FB is a pita. I have started to switch to alternative sites. First two are diaspora and mastodon.
I will miss some great groups, but I hope things will be better there.
I think it’s a good moment to leave Facebook. Yea! On FB are many people and all are connected together, but diaspora is a nice copycat. Another solution is…create users.adafruit.com and be a part of the free and open web.
I left facebook long ago and never really used it.
The problem with sites like Facebook, Twitter, and even YouTube is they will ban, demonetize, or delete things arbitrarily, and lock people out, and never explain why, just some vague “you violated some ToS or CG”. They don’t just lock out the single post, they lock everything.
Sometimes it is for a post several years old – there is no statute of limitation.
There is no real appeal, no human you can talk to, just keep emailing or sending stuff to a website.
This is the big complaint of both the right and left. If you know the rules, you can play by them. Even if the rules change, you should have a chance to remove old things which might violate things. And if something is flagged as violating, something specific as to what or why should be included in any notice. But it never is.
Even Rose McGowan with a tweet (that happened to have a phone number) got banned and locked out without explanation while tweeting about her rape and sexual abuse and harassment. But twitter leaves a lot of abusive posts up. Twitter could have simply banned the single tweet and sent a message that “don’t include personal information of other people”, but instead locked the account so she couldn’t even find out.
I think your page is back up, but there is no guarantee it won’t happen again. We need clear and equally enforced rules. Or we need other platforms where things are done that way.
🙁 – Hope you get sorted soon! Love your work!

I have no idea what is going on but just wanted to say I really love your work and am a huge fan.

The internet routes around outages; the signal will get through.

A good reason among myriad others to stopping using Facebook.
