Ideation

This project was created for my Halloween decorations. I wanted to make some stand alone components that could be distributed around my house and yard and have them all talking to each other over MQTT. The entire Halloween scene is orchestrated using Node-Red running on a Raspberry Pi.

Components
The following devices are setup:

2 Motion sensors

1 Raspberry Pi & video projector playing Halloween skits and running the Node-Red flows

1 Fog machine

1 Raspberry Pi acting as the MQTT broker
