Animated Maleficent Costume Can Light Up the Night

If you choose to dress like Maleficent, you can go with the recent live-action version of the character or the cartoon version from the animated film Sleeping Beauty. Redditor rl_faith went with the latter for Halloween, and she looks positively evil — which I mean as a compliment. She wanted to look animated but still real, and she succeeded. She says:

This is my version of the classic villian, toned down for movement’s sake. I took a base costume and modified the collar, sleeves, train, and length. I did my makeup, and my husband made my light up staff.

The staff was simply a frosted plastic sphere that they put a light inside.
