Big Clive Reverse Engineers a Simple LDR Halloween Toy Circuit
Big Clive videos are always fun but this one especially so. In it he reverse engineers a simple circuit from inside a Poundland crow bird prop sold for Halloween – someone moves within proximity of the toy and it begins crowing, like a crow. Big Clive shows how the circuit consists of not much more than a LDR, some resistors and capacitors, sound module IC (underneath the black blob) & speaker – in other words this circuit can easily be ported to other purposes! (The speaker transducer is also a simple and effective design – shown right at the end of the video.)
