How a Fire Sprinkler Works – Including Color Coding & Various Designs

Another instant classic video from Big Clive, who does a great job at examining some fire sprinkler heads he picked up off eBay for a couple of bucks each. For whatever reason in my own life I’ve only ever looked at, examined, or noticed red-liquid sprinkler heads, and so I was completely unaware of the color coding system, which as Big Clive points out is more for easy identification than operation – the temperature breaking point is actually regulated by the bubble in the bulb!
