A 3D printer, a raspberry pi running Octoprint, a tablet and an account on Doodle3D.com. Are these things together enough to allow childern with limited mobility get into 3D printing?
I was asked by a family who have a couple of children with limited mobility to help them get into 3D printing. The one child can hardly move her hands, but she could use a tablet computer. But how to go from idea to 3D print completely on a tablet computer.
Turns out it’s totally possible. We are living in the future.
Every Thursday is #3dthursday here at Adafruit! The DIY 3D printing community has passion and dedication for making solid objects from digital models. Recently, we have noticed electronics projects integrated with 3D printed enclosures, brackets, and sculptures, so each Thursday we celebrate and highlight these bold pioneers!
