Stop What You’re Doing & Check Out This AA Battery Homopolar Motor by @makerprojectlab | #makevember
Scroll over the preview image and press play – then drop your evening plans and attempt to make this yourself!
Today’s #makevember project: a homopolar motor made with neodymium magnets, copper wire, and a AA battery. Getting that wire shape and balance right takes patience, but the result is magic.
I’ve seen multiple angled wires balancing on both sides of the power supply before, but the single, curved, balanced wire is a novel idea and really pleasant to watch!
