Spotted some Adafruit components & parts in tweets from Microsoft in Education Canada and Microsoft Vancouver (and participants) as part of their #HourOfCode event. The outstanding winner seen in the tweets? You guessed it: Circuit Playground Express! Compatible with Microsoft MakeCode, CircuitPython or the Arduino IDE, this round board contains a smörgåsbord of sensors, 10 NeoPixels, microphone and mini speaker, and of course the alligator clip-friendly I/O pins that make the Circuit Playground Express an ideal tool for kids and advanced makers alike to quickly prototype and learn with.
Almost time for #HourofCode here in Vancouver. In 30 minutes we’ll welcome 100 students with @Minecraft and @adafruit’s Circuit Playground. #CSEdWeek pic.twitter.com/KBPog57f8E
