A Breath of the Wild Great Fairy Costume for All Your Armor Upgrades

The Great Fairies are some of Link’s most important allies in Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. They each offer Link various upgrades; Cotera helps with armor. The design of each of the Great Fairies is eye-catching with unique hairstyles and outfits, and as with all the concepts in the game, they’re a little weird — which I mean as a compliment. Veldrath Cosplay‘s take on Cotera is the first costume I’ve seen that brings one of the bejeweled Great Fairies to life. She sewed fabric, embroidered, and hand-painted elements of the cosplay as close to the game as possible. You can see a couple of in progress photos below.

View more of the costume’s detail and making of in this Facebook album.

Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
