Raspberry Pi had an epic year. Congrats Pi folks from the Adafruit team, good work, and doing good. Here are some stats –

  • To date, we’ve sold over 17 million Raspberry Pi computers and the past three months have all seen record breaking volumes.
  • Over 200,000 young people now take part in our clubs and programmes every week.
  • The merger with CoderDojo has been a huge success. Code Club continues to go from strength to strength.
  • We had over 2,400 entries to our latest Astro Pi competition.
  • Since launching our first online training courses in January, over 45,000 educators have taken part.
  • Our new projects platform went live and has already seen 2 million users.
  • We’ve launched two new magazines: Hello World (for educators) and Hackspace (for makers).
