Gemma-Powered NeoPixel Ring Pendant | #WearableWednesday #wearables @reservedbit
Trinket-powered Goggles but want something to wear around your neck instead? That’s exactly what this maker from Pune, India-based reserved-bit did with a single NeoPixel ring, a Gemma, and a custom 3d-printed enclosure. In a way it is its own hybrid of our other Gemma-based projects like the Sheikah Pendant or 10-Minute Necklace (those use the NeoPixel Jewel), or likewise a variation of the Shell Pendant (based on the Circuit Playground Classic). And if you use a 16-pixel ring the Gemma fits neatly inside the ring, as demonstrated in our GEMMA Hoop Earrings project. Wearables are endlessly customizable and make for great accessories!

CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
