MobaXterm could be thought of like PuTTY, but with many, many more options available:
The blog title says it might be the solution “you’ve been looking for” but I’m blogging this because it’s becoming the solution “I’ve been looking for” and I hope others will benefit from knowing about it!
MobaXterm describes itself as a “terminal for Windows with X11 server, tabbed SSH client, network tools and much more.” The “much more” options are pretty numerous for even the free version (many of the max limitations are lifted in the full commercial version):
