DIY Millennium Falcon Purse with LEDs Is a Perfect Cosplay Accessory
If you want to add a little something extra to your Rey, Chewbacca, Han, or even Lando costume, you could make a light-up Millennium Falcon purse by hand. Instructables user MikaelaHolmes wrote a detailed tutorial on crafting the hunk of junk by hand and adding LEDs to make the back of the iconic spaceship glow. It’s a complicated process to make the vehicle from leather and emboss all the parts on the surface, not to mention painting it, but the result is something that would impress even Lando. You can see a few in progress photos below.
Make a robot friend with Adafruit’s CRICKIT – A Creative Robotics & Interactive Construction Kit. It’s an add-on to our popular Circuit Playground Express, FEATHER and other platforms to make and program robots with CircuitPython, MakeCode, and Arduino. Start controlling motors, servos, solenoids. You also get signal pins, capacitive touch sensors, a NeoPixel driver and amplified speaker output. It complements & extends your boards so you can still use all the goodies on the microcontroller, now you have a robotics playground as well.
